Our premium beeswax is proud to be called Canadian. It’s 100% pure and contains no additives or preservatives, just the way nature intended. It’s collected from our apiary in Northern Ontario and has a light fresh honey scent.
Appearance: Pure beeswax from cappings will have a golden yellow color. Darker wax comes from hives that are recycled.
Caution: Always use a double boiler method when melting beeswax. Melt at a low heat setting and take off of heat once fully melted. Over heating the product can affect the scent and may cause the wax to ignite. Beeswax does not boil, so ensure you keep an eye on it as it melts.
Storage: Our beeswax is 100% pure. As sure it can be store almost indefinitely. If it starts to lose color, simply remelt.
Uses: Beeswax is typically used in candles, lotions, soaps and as a finish for wood working.
